Good Morning ~ How is every one doing today?  Here doing good. The weather could be warmer, but that will come soon enough then we will be complaining about the heat and wish it would be cooler. Funny we are never happy are we. Last week Thursday my youngest slid down a few stairs in the house and bit the middle of his tongue. It was quite gross. Come to find out the tongues heals quit fast. He was eating hot dogs and ketchup the next day with no problems.

We had a rainstorm Saturday which caused lots of tree limbs and power lines to fall. My mother-in-law says that  grandma and grandpa's yard looks like some one cut tree tops and just left the mess. So this next Saturday we all get to go to visit grandma and grandpa and clean up. It will be fun the kids always have fun at their house and so do the adults.

I am not very creative when coming up with ideas on what to prim make. I usually surf the web and buy patterns and go from there. I am lost for ideas. If anyone has any please don't be afraid to speak up! LOL

Well have a great day! I off to explore the Internet for some ideas.....;)

Valentine cards

The kids are all making their Valentine cards for their friends. They are having a blast coming up with ideas of what to make. TJ, my oldest, is making playing cards valentines. Noah, my second oldest, is making puppy faces valentines. Isabella, my third oldest, is making flower valentines. Tommy, Jacob, and Lucas, the younger ones that stay home, are making hearts with puff stickers. It is always fun to see what their little minds come up with.

"Primitive Pantry Cakes Recipe"

1 cup flour

1/2 cup salt

1 cup coffee grounds

1/2 cup cold coffee

Spray the pan with cooking spray. What she would have to do is press the dough all around the inside (about 1/4 or more thick), then wad up foil to fill in the middle, and then put a layer at the top to cover the foil. Otherwise, if the whole pan is filled with the dough, it won't dry completely and will get moldy and icky. Then, you bake it in a slow oven for a couple of hours or leave it out in the sun for a really long time to dry. When it's dry, rub spices all over it or make that fake icing with white glue and white paint to drizzle over the top.

I found this recipe on A PRIMITIVE JOURNEY's blog I can't wait to try it!

Postings

I am going to try to post every Sunday. I have been slacking. I have pictures to post. I didn't sell much at the craft sale that was a few months ago, but I have been selling quite a few dolls at Snappy Turtle. It is a little shop in Prairie du Chien. Shelly the owner of the shop is a wonderful lady and has made this happen for me. Thank you Shelly.
